You never know who might show up in an AEW Casino Battle Royale, and on Sunday night fans saw an interesting debut during the All Out pay-per-view.
A shot at the AEW Women’s Title was on the line on Sunday in the Women’s Casino Battle Royale, and when it was time for The Joker to make their entrance the fans started to chant “Ruby Soho.” The countdown ended and then “Ruby Soho” by Rancid hit as Ruby made her entrance to a big pop. Ruby went right for Jade Cargill and Nyla Rose as the fans continued to chant “Ruby Soho.”
The final three came down to Ruby Soho, Nyla Rose and Thunder Rosa. Nyla Rose charged at Thunder Rosa at one point, but Rosa pulled the ropes down which caused Rose to fall over, then she dropkicked Rose off the apron.
It came down to Thunder Rosa and Ruby Soho. The fans showed their appreciation by chanting for both of them. Ruby Soho and Thunder Rosa both ended up battling on the apron outside the ropes, and Ruby pushed Rosa face first into the turnbuckle then knocked her off the apron to pick up the win.
Ruby Soho will now go on to challenge Britt Baker for the AEW Women’s Championship.
