Samoa Joe made a big time heel turn on Wednesday’s episode of NXT. Joe hasn’t been shy about letting Balor know he wants a shot at the title, but he just took things to the next level.
Finn Balor was defending his NXT Championship against Apollo Crews when Baron Corbin interrupted the match. This caused a DQ finish and Samoa Joe came down to make the save. But then something unexpected happened. Joe turned his attention to NXT Champion Finn Balor and then proceeded to attack him.
It’s long been rumored that the two would be feuding and now the feud appears to be in full swing. If Finn Balor is in need of a challenger for the NXT Title at NXT Takeover: London on December 16th, it looks like Samoa Joe is the guy.
