talking smack

The Miz and Daniel Bryan have a long history together. Bryan was The Miz’s rookie during his NXT days, and they’ve been tormenting each other for years now. Their rivalry has only become more intense over the past few months, thanks to the fact that Daniel Bryan is now the General Manager of SmackDown Live.

The Miz has confronted Daniel Bryan a few times on SmackDown Live, and he’s also adopted some of Daniel Bryan’s signature moves, such as his “YES!” chants, and his kicks. During the recent WWE live event in Dayton, OH, Apollo Crews was on the wrong end of those kicks, and The Miz also decided to do his best Daniel Bryan impression.

Many fans are hoping that this Daniel Bryan/Miz rivalry will lead to another match between the two, but despite his desire to wrestle again, WWE has kept Bryan out of the ring in the interest of his own personal safety.

Roderick Strong has been wrestling for a long time, and he’s considered a veteran at this point. Strong has seen quite a few of his friends from the independent scene such as AJ Styles and Seth Rollins make it to the top of WWE, and he was recently asked by WWE.com what he thinks about their success. You can see what he had to say below.

“I couldn’t have been happier for them. They all worked very hard to get to where they are and to see it pay off is great. I look forward to wrestling them again, but this time on the biggest stage of them all.”

Strong also said that he loves training at the WWE Performance Center because it gives him the chance to work with great coaches.

“It really hasn’t been challenging at all. I guess some would think [it] would be a negative, but I get to work on every aspect of my game daily and it has only made me better. Plus, every day I step in [the Performance Center], I am surrounded by great coaches who are there to help me become the best I can be, and that’s exciting.”
