AJ Styles has been on a roll since he defeated Dean Ambrose to become the new WWE World Champion at Backlash in September. However, Dean Ambrose has made it a point to make AJ’s life miserable, and the two SmackDown Live stars faced off once again in a Tables Ladders and Chairs match at WWE TLC on Sunday.

Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles wasted no time getting down to business, and the action quickly spilled out of the ring. Ambrose and Styles made their way to the entrance area, and then they fought into the crowd.

When AJ Styles and Dean Ambrose made their way back to the ring, they pulled out all the stops by using an abundance of tables, ladders and chairs.

Dean Ambrose set AJ Styles up on one of the announce tables outside the ring, then he set up a ladder on the announce table next to it and elbow dropped AJ through the table. Back in the ring Dean Ambrose set up another ladder and tried to grab the title, but AJ came out of nowhere and knocked Dean off the ladder by hitting him with the Phenomenal Forearm.

Later in the match AJ Styles placed Dean Ambrose on a table outside the ring. Styles followed up by getting back in the ring, then he put Dean Ambrose through the table by hitting a springboard 450 Splash to the outside. As Styles was climbing the ladder, James Ellsworth made his way down to the ring.

AJ attacked Ellsworth, then he tried to hit him with the Styles Clash on the stairs, but Dean Ambrose got back up and made the save.

Dean climbed the ladder and AJ followed. Dean knocked AJ off the ladder and it looked like Dean Ambrose was going to grab the belt, but Ellsworth got in the ring and pushed the ladder over. Ambrose fell to the outside as he came crashing down through some tables.

AJ Styles then climbed the ladder as James Ellsworth cheered him on.
