Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling the idea of a war between AEW and WWE has been downplayed, but it’s clear that both brands are paying attention to one another.

WWE has been locking down talents to make sure that they don’t jump ship, and it looks like a former General Manager’s appearance on AEW programming rubbed some WWE officials the wrong way.

During a recent episode of her podcast Vickie Guerrero noted that she asked to interview some WWE Superstars for her show, but after she appeared on AEW Dark WWE cut off all communication with her.

“I have the podcast now and I had asked to interview some Superstars for my podcast, and they found out I went to AEW and now they don’t even talk to me. Between me and you (David Benoit), they didn’t call me for two years, I haven’t heard from them, what did they expect me to do? Just to sit here and wait for them to call so I could do some work? I love wrestling. I love to work in the ring. And if someone is giving me an opportunity to go and show up and have some fun, then I should be able to because I’m not obligated to anybody. I saw that I p****d in their Cheerios, so be it.”

Vickie Guerrero was a mainstay on WWE programming for years, and she’s also a Hall of Famer, but it doesn’t sound like we’ll be seeing her on WWE programming again any time soon.
