Shinsuke Nakamura challenged Rusev for the United States title during the WWE Royal Rumble kickoff show on Sunday, and during the match Nakamura started to take the padding off a turnbuckle.
Lana then got on the apron and told the referee that Nakamura was cheating.
Nakamura started yelling at Lana as she was on the apron, and Rusev then charged at Shinsuke, but Nakamura got out of the way and Rusev knocked Lana off the apron.
As Rusev was distracted, Shinsuke hit him with a Kinshasa to the back of the head to win the match.
