aj styles

When AJ Styles first joined WWE in 2016 it didn’t take long for him to become one of the top stars in the company, and in the years that followed The Phenomenal One went on to feud with some big names and capture the WWE Championship twice.

It seemed like Styles was on a roll for a while, but nowadays it’s certainly not uncommon to see AJ take a loss on WWE programming. Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently discussed AJ’s status on his Wrestling With Freddie podcast and he made it clear that he doesn’t like how Styles is being used right now.

“Look, I don’t like what they’re doing with AJ Styles right now. The only time he wins a match is when he’s way over the other person. Anytime they’re remotely close, they got him losing nonstop. This is a dude that deserves a better story, doesn’t have to be the champ again, although I wouldn’t mind seeing that. I think credible stories is something that he’s worthy of and he’s capable of telling and I would like to see them get back to that. That’s all I’m gonna say about that.”

Do you think WWE should be doing more with AJ Styles? Sound off in the comments below.
