Former WWE Star Makes Surprise Return On Raw

In recent weeks fans have seen some interesting returns, and on Monday Night Raw this week former NXT Champion Johnny Garganoa returned. The Toronto crowd made it clear that they were happy to see him as they chanted “welcome back!”

Gargano introduced himself before saying that during his time away from wrestling he wasn’t sure if he still wanted to do this. He went on to say that he had big dreams of becoming Intercontinental Champion, US Champion and WWE Champion. Johnny Gargano said he wants to prove to his son that anything is possible, so he’s betting on himself and Johnny Wrestling is back.

Theory’s music hit and he made his way down the ring to confront Gargano. He said that he’s doing the things Gargano dreamed of, and now it’s like he’s the veteran and Gargano is the rookie. Theory referenced how Gargano took him under his wing in NXT then taunted him by saying Gargano can hold the Money in the Bank briefcase when he cashes in. He followed up by asking for a high five, but Gargano hit him with a superkick to end the segment.

Johnny Gargano finished up with WWE when his contract ran out back in December of 2021. With a new regime in charge of WWE there’s been talk of Gargano returning and now it seems that he’s back. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
