It’s been a long, strange trip for the Broken Hardys, but they’ve travelled through space and time and they have landed in Ring Of Honor. In the process, Matt and Jeff announced they have signed a contract with ROH.

Ring of Honor’s Manhattan Mayhem VI will indeed go down as one of the biggest events of the year in regards to impact (no pun intended). The biggest story here isn’t even the fact that Bubba Ray Dudley debuted for ROH Saturday night, which is big enough news in and of itself. Bubba ran in for the save while The Bullet Club ganged up against Bobby Fish.

After The Young Bucks’ successful title defense against Lio Rush and Jay White, the Broken Hardys came down to the ring to an astounded audience.

After an action packed confrontation, the already softened-up Young Bucks were defeated as Nick Jackson took a Twist of Fate and a Swanton Bomb for the clean win.

It was recently reported that the brothers were talking to WWE, but in the end, it looks like they’ve decided to go a different direction when deciding their new professional wrestling home. However, the length of their deal with ROH is unknown at this time, so it’s possible that they could have signed a short term contract.

After the match Matt Hardy said that they have left the “dreadful” TNA and they’ve signed the most lucrative contract in ROH history. He confirmed that they will face The Young Bucks at the ROH 15th anniversary show and the TV taping the next day. Matt also told the crowd that they will be part of Supercard of Honor XI during WrestleMania weekend.

A run with ROH affords the Broken Hardys the chance of locking up with more Bullet Club members down the line as ROH and New Japan have a very good working relationship. One thing is for sure that this is a great get for ROH and the Broken Hardys are very much still on their Expedition of Gold.
