When it comes to undefeated streaks, Goldberg has the most infamous undefeated streak in history. Goldberg went undefeated for 173 matches during his run in WCW, although it’s been acknowledged that the number was exaggerated, and the actual number was 155 wins.

Asuka surpassed the 155 number a few weeks ago, but following her big win at NXT TakeOver: Chicago, Asuka has officially surpassed Goldberg’s streak.

The current NXT Women’s Champion took to Twitter to say that she respects Goldberg, and she’s proud to be the undefeated champion.

WWE hasn’t really made a big deal out of Asuka’s streak despite the fact that it’s a huge accomplishment. However, the company did retweet a message from Goldberg saying that he feels the streak is in good hands.

Asuka has been on a roll in NXT, and it doesn’t look like she’ll be defeated anytime soon, so it should be interesting to see how many more wins she can rack up before her streak comes to an end.
