Nia Jax and Sasha Banks have been going at it in a David and Goliath type match-up for the past few weeks, and their rivalry finds them capping off the kick-off show before the Royal Rumble. These two are expected to be in a fatal-four-way match at WrestleMania, so fans shouldn’t expect this rivalry to end anytime soon.

The match started off with Sasha going right for Nia, but Jax caught Banks and sat her in the ropes. Nia went for Sasha in the corner but Banks used her quickness to evade her. Sasha slapped Nia multiple times but was unsuccessful in a top rope maneuver because Jax simply caught her out of the air again.

Nia steamrolled over Banks and sent her to the canvas hard. Sasha attempted a comeback, but Jax sent Sasha back down with a headbutt. Sasha attempted a Banks Statement, but Jax wouldn’t let her lock it in.

Nia kicked Sasha’s leg out from under her focusing on her injured knee. Nia got Sasha in a stretch muffler submission hold to further punish The Boss’ knee. Sasha kicked Nia to attempt to separate the two, and pulled Nia between the ropes. She kicked Nia several times and Sasha got to the top turnbuckle then managed to land a top rope double knee on Jax. Two count.

Nia turned around and in a heartbeat hit Sasha with her pop-up Samoan drop for the win.

Winner: Nia Jax
