The stars of NXT returned to Full Sail University on Wednesday night for another round of tapings, and the show set up a few of the big matches for NXT TakeOver: Chicago. During the show, a battle royal was held to determine the new #1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, and it looks like one of the stars may have been injured during the battle royal.

During the match Asuka interfered and she knocked Ember Moon off the top turnbuckle which caused her to fall to the mat below. Then Asuka picked Ember up, and threw her toward the corner turnbuckle, and Ember Moon did what looked like a suicide dive through the ropes, then she slammed into the guardrail.

The bump looked rough, and according to fans in attendance, Ember Moon was seen crying on the floor after she landed. Ember was then helped to the back.
At this point it’s not known if she did indeed suffer an injury, or if she’s going to end up missing any time in the ring, so hopefully she’s able to bounce back.
