It’s been rumored for a few days now, but tonight on Monday Night Raw it was confirmed. Seth Rollins will challenge Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at Clash of the Champions on September 25.

Raw General Manager Mick Foley and Stephanie McMahon kicked off Raw this week with a celebration for Kevin Owens, and the crowd praised Owens, chanting, “You deserve it.” Owens went full heel on the crowd, and berated the audience for trying to steal his moment.

Kevin’s celebration was interrupted by Seth Rollins. Seth told Owens that he doesn’t have a problem with him, and Rollins started to question Stephanie McMahon about her involvement with Triple H. Stephanie promised Rollins that she had nothing to do with Triple H’s return last week.

Seth Rollins attacked Kevin Owens and then Stephanie McMahon tried to tell Rollins that he was suspended. Mick Foley shut Stephanie down big time, and announced that Rollins would not be suspended, and that he will challenge Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at Clash of the Champions.
