This week on Monday Night Raw, Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan put the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line against Sonya Deville & Chelsea Green, and Raquel went into the match selling a knee injury.

When it was also said and done Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville managed to pick up the victory and win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles for the first time. It’s no big secret that the WWE women’s tag team division has had some issues, but it looks like WWE officials are feeling good about the new champions.

WrestleVotes is reporting that there is a feeling of optimism from the company regarding Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville. The hope is that the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions can stabilize the division and have a substantial run with the belts.

Whether or not Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville can bring stability to the women’s tag team division remains to be seen, but they certainly seem to be working well as a team.

As for Raquel Rodriguez, it’s rumored that WWE is looking to book her in a title match with Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam, so it seems that she could be returning to singles competition after working as a tag team with Liv Morgan. Only time will tell how things play out. Stay tuned for updates.
