Andrea D’Marco recently announced on Twitter that she will be working as a host for WWE’s NXT brand.

Andrea D’Marco is a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader and a reporter with a background in sports broadcasting. She’s been covering the Florida Panthers for a while but she’ll be leaving that gig behind to work with NXT. She recently said her goodbyes to the team’s fans on Facebook. She posted the following message:

HEY PANTHERS FANS! I want to thank my Florida Panthers family and amazing fans for four amazing seasons. There are no words to express how lucky and thankful I am for the memories and friendships. I will be changing my mic flag for another but know that I will sincerely miss you all. I’m on to another adventure as a host for WWE/NXT. It’s truly a dream come true! ‪#‎Blessed‬

D’Marco has worked NXT live events in the past but now that she’s done with her commitments with the Panthers it looks like everything is officially official.

Tonight WWE will be holding NXT tapings at Full Sail University in Florida but it doesn’t seem likely that Andrea D’Marco will be used as she noted on Twitter that she’s just doing live events for now.

WWE has gained an announcer in Andrea D’Marco, but they also lost an announcer in Rich Brennan as the company released Rich from his contract yesterday.
