Monday night on Raw Sasha Banks made her way to the ring and told fans that she had some bad news.
Sasha has been out of action for the past few weeks, and she delivered an emotional speech about her career before announcing that she will be challenging Charlotte for the title at Clash of Champions.
While Sasha was cutting her promo on Raw she talked how far the WWE Women’s division has come, and how much it has evolved from the days of the Bra and Panties match.
Vince Russo defended the women who competed in the Bra and Panties matches during the Attitude Era, saying that it helped win the Monday Night Wars. He posted the following:

United States Champion Rusev and Lana had a traditional Bulgarian wedding over the weekend and now they are on their honeymoon. According to Rusev’s Twitter account the honeymoon will last up to 23 days.

First: Yes I am a man. Second: I watched the B n P matches back in the day. Not everyone was someone I wanted to see (Mae Young), but it did help to win the Monday Night Wars. Was it the ONLY thing? No…WCW starting to turn out crap product was the major thing, but those very fit and beautiful women? Boy they sure didn’t hurt the cause.
