It was on November 29, 1999 when Stephanie McMahon was set to be married to her future husband Test when Triple H interrupted the wedding and showed a special video. Triple H showed a video of him driving a drugged up Stephanie McMahon to a drive-thru wedding service in Las Vegas.
Triple H was the number one heel in the WWE at the time and he was at war with the McMahons. Triple H marrying Stephanie McMahon was unthinkable considering how their television characters felt about each other at the time. The moment was a complete shock and a great twist that’s still talked about to this day.
