The Elite recently returned at the Full Gear pay-per-view and they challenged Death Triangle for the AEW World Trios Championship. Unfortunately for The Elite the match didn’t go their way, but they’ll be facing off against Death Triangle several times in the weeks to come as AEW has announced a best of 7 series for the two teams.
It’s no big secret that The Elite were involved in a physical altercation with CM Punk following the All Out pay-per-view in September, and during The Elite’s return match fans chanted “f**k CM Punk!”
This week’s episode of Dynamite is set to take place from CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago, and it looks like The Young Bucks are preparing for the Chicago fans as they recently updated their Twitter bio which now reads, “Chicago. This’ll be interesting.”
