We all remember how shocking it was when The Shield made their debut at Survivor Series 2012. The group came through the crowd and hit a triple powerbomb on Ryback through the announce table and it was the powerbomb heard around the world. In the weeks that followed we had so many questions. Who are these guys? Where did they come from? Why do they like turtlenecks so much?

Little did we know that when we watched that moment we had witnessed the birth of The Shield. The group went on to wreak havoc on the WWE roster which caused Team Hell No and Ryback to stand up to them. Ryback along with Team Hell No faced off against The Shield in a tables, ladders and chairs match and the 2012 TLC pay-per-view and all eyes were on The Shield.

There was a lot of pressure on The Shield because it was their debut match and they absolutely had to deliver. Deliver they did as the group stole the show and the victory at the pay-per-view in a match that some people consider to be one of the greatest debut matches in the history of the company.

Here we are three years later and Roman Reigns is WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose is the Intercontinental Champion and although Seth Rollins is out due to an injury, he was the WWE Champion for a good portion of 2015. Everyone knew that the group would be big both together and individually but this is the match that started it all.

You can check out some highlights from the match in the clip below.
