Bayley recently took the top spot in the NXT women’s division when she won the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. Her popularity is at an all time high, her merchandise is selling well on WWEShop.com and everyone’s wondering what’s next for the NXT Women’s Champion.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Bayley is set to feud with Dana Brooke followed by Eva Marie. WWE officials reportedly want to validate Eva Marie by making her NXT Women’s Champion. The idea is that the story of her winning the title would be that she proved her critics wrong.
It’s speculated that Bayley may start her feud with Dana Brooke at the September 10th NXT tapings which would possibly lead to a match at the October 7th NXT Takeover event. Eventually Eva Marie will be brought into the mix to feud with Bayley as well.
It’s been well documented that Eva Marie spent months training with Brian Kendrick trying to work on her in ring skills. It’s also been rumored that WWE has wanted to push Eva Marie for quite a while now.
