This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw kicked off in a big way with Cody Rhodes cutting a promo, but that promo was eventually interrupted by Seth Rollins. After Seth and Cody talked for a while The Judgment Day made their way down and the confrontation turned into a brawl when Finn Balor attacked Seth Rollins from behind. Sami Zayn then came out to make the save for the faces and a six man tag team match was booked for the main event.

Later in the show Damian Priest confronted Finn Balor backstage while Balor was talking to JD McDonagh, and it was clear that there’s tension between Balor and Priest. McDonagh took out Sami Zayn as a favor to Finn Balor and Zayn was replaced by Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event.

It’s long been rumored that The Judgment Day would be recruiting a new member soon, but Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that it looks as though the current plan is for JD McDonagh to replace Damian Priest.

“It looks like JD is gonna be replacing Damian Priest in the Judgment Day when this big split goes down”

Damian Priest and Finn Balor haven’t been seeing eye to eye ever since Priest won the Money in the Bank contract last month, so it seems that a split is inevitable at this point. Stay tuned for updates.
