Over the last few years a number of wrestlers have signed with AEW, but in recent months a few wrestlers have parted ways with the company after their contracts expired. Brian Pillman Jr. was spotted at the WWE Performance Center last month after his AEW contract expired which led to a lot of speculation regarding his status moving forward.
PWInsider is now reporting that Brian Pillman Jr. is believed to have signed a deal with WWE. Brian Pillman Jr. is also slated to be at the NXT TV tapings this week in Orlando, but there’s currently no word on whether or not he will be appearing on camera while he is there.
Brian Pillman Jr. first started making appearances on AEW programming in 2019 and he went on to form The Varsity Blonds tag team alongside Griff Garrison. It was confirmed in 2021 that he had signed a full-time deal with the company.
