As noted, Rey Mysterio’s return to AAA was announced at a press conference in Mexico this week. Rey will be teaming with Alberto El Patron (Alberto Del Rio) and Myzteziz (original Sin Cara) in a May 23rd trios tournament called The Torneo Internacional de Lucha Libre. At the press conference, Mysterio claimed all of his time off while with WWE has him at 100% health. He also said he’s happy to be free and able to wrestle.
