Michael Cole has been a part of the WWE broadcast team for decades now and next month he will celebrate 26 years with the company. Throughout Cole’s time in WWE he’s been part of some memorable moments and he’s shared the screen with several different broadcast partners.
At this point it’s hard to imagine WWE programming without Michael Cole as he’s been a mainstay on TV for years, but sooner or later he’s going to have to say goodbye to the commentary table.
However, it doesn’t sound like Michael Cole is ready to hang up the headset just yet as he recently explained during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show that he intends to move full speed ahead with his commentary career for at least a few more years.
“I’m gonna be married 30 years, so if I want it to last longer than that, I’m probably going to have to stop at some point. But no, it won’t be anytime soon. I still got a lot of work to do with this company. I mean, there’s still a lot of stuff to do. Still a lot of shows to call. I told somebody that I would [have lasted this long, I wouldn’t believe it.] You know, I’m 56 now, so 60 sounds like a pretty good age to maybe slow down a little bit.”
