Throughout the course of his career Kurt Angle put on many classic matches, and between his runs with WWE and TNA he faced off against some interesting opponents.
The former WWE Champion’s wrestling career officially came to an end when he was defeated by Baron Corbin in his retirement match at WrestleMania 35, but it’s safe to say there are still a number of opponents fans would love to see him face.
Kurt Angle recently spoke with Forbes and when the subject of current AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was brought up Angle made it clear that he would have liked to have faced Omega when he was active.
“Oh, gosh, that’s one of my dream matches! Kenny is extremely talented. I saw a match with him in Japan and I thought “wow this guy’s incredible.” He reminds me a lot of AJ Styles. They both have the same style where they can fly and do groundwork equally well.”
