The WWE Hall Of Fame is a star-studded affair every year and this year’s class is a packed show full of some legendary names from professional wrestling including Goldberg. Although Asuka toppled his legendary winning streak, Goldberg’s reign will live on as one of the biggest money makers for WCW and one of their only original incarnations as a company that actually worked.

But since WWE bought out their competition in 2001, Goldberg is now in the WWE Universe so he will find his place in the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. But the question remains of who will be given the honor of inducting Goldberg into the Hall Of Fame.

It’s kind of funny how time changes things. This time last year Paul Heyman was Brock Lesnar’s advocate walking into WrestleMania 33 where The Beast Incarnate proved Goldberg was really next when he captured the WWE Universal Title. Now this year Goldberg finds himself as the headliner for the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame.

What makes this story even more interesting is the fact that WWE announced Paul Heyman will be the one inducting Goldberg into the WWE Hall Of Fame. This is a great choice because nobody can pull off a speech like Paul Heyman, but the timing of things is still rather amusing.

I can’t wait to hear what Heyman will say when he’s given the microphone. After all, who knows how WWE will use him if Brock Lesnar takes off to MMA after Mania?

Edge and Christian were previously announced that they will be inducting the Dudley Boyz and Molly Holly was also confirmed to induct Ivory. With Paul Heyman joining this year’s ceremony in such a key role, the 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame is shaping up to be an entertaining event every pro wrestling fan should want to see.
