This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw took place from Boston and it featured the big return of John Cena. The former WWE Champion received a loud ovation as soon as he made his entrance, but he was quickly interrupted by Austin Theory.
Theory wasted no time trying to set up a WrestleMania match as he told Cena that he was gifting him a US Title shot on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Cena took several shots at Austin Theory but eventually agreed to face him at WrestleMania 39 next month in a United States Championship match.
As John Cena was making his exit he told Austin Theory that he’s not ready for the WrestleMania stage then he introduced someone who is and Cody Rhodes made his entrance. The audience cheered for Cody and Cena hugged him then said something that the fans couldn’t hear. Cody later took to Twitter to confirm that Cena told him to, “Reward their noise, every time…”

John Cena and Cody Rhodes are both set for major title matches at WrestleMania as Cena will challenge Austin Theory for the United States Title and Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. WrestleMania 39 will air live from Sofi Stadium on April 1 and April 2. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
