TNA recently announced that Brandi Rhodes has signed a deal to join the Knockouts Division, and they also announced that Cody Rhodes would be making his debut at Bound For Glory. Both Cody and Brandi Rhodes debuted on Sunday night, and they confronted Mike Bennett and his wife Maria in the middle of the ring.
Maria defended the TNA Knockouts Championship against TNA Hall of Famer Gail Kim, and it was Kim who won the match when she hit Maria with Eat Defeat. After the match was over Mike Bennett got on the mic and talked about how nothing seemed to be going right for him and Maria. Bennett lost to Moose earlier in the night and he threatened to shut down Bound For Glory.
Cody and Brandi Rhodes then made their way to the ring to a big pop from the crowd, and they confronted Mike and Maria. Things got physical, and Cody hit Mike Bennett with the disaster kick. Cody and Brandi Rhodes then stood tall after they cleared the ring.
Cody and Brandi kicked off their feud with Mike and Maria and it’s expected that they’ll be working together during the TNA Impact tapings this week.
