The Hardys returned to WWE a few years ago at WrestleMania 33, and they made headlines when they won the Raw Tag Team Titles in their first match back with the company.
But Matt Hardy’s WWE contract expired just a few days ago, and now he’s a free agent.
During his most recent WWE run Matt Hardy also feuded with, and teamed up with Bray Wyatt. The two Superstars won the Raw Tag Team Titles together, and Bray reacted to Matt’s WWE departure when he posted the following:

It’s been rumored that Matt will be going to AEW, but nothing has been confirmed at this point.
