Big E has been out of action for a few months now due to a broken neck and he’s been receiving a lot of support from the wrestling community. Recently the former WWE Champion took to Twitter to say that his neck “isn’t healing optimally” and that he will be wearing a brace for another 4 to 6 weeks in hopes of avoiding a fusion.

“For those desirous of an update, my C1 apparently isn’t healing optimally. I’ll spend another 4-6 weeks in a brace in hopes that I can avoid a fusion. But don’t you fret! I’ve got a tremendous support system & what shall be shall be.”

Big E broke his neck after taking an overhead belly to belly suplex from Ridge Holland on the outside of the ring during the March 11th episode of SmackDown. Following the injury Big E confirmed there was no damage to his spinal cord and no ligament damage. At the time it was also believed that Big E would not need surgery. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
