Many sources reveal that the Superstars backstage are not happy with the “Double Standard” that WWE has with “Part-timers” in regards to the Wellness Policy.
As previously reported, Brock Lesnar will not face any kind of punishment from WWE over his two failed tests with USADA. (I’D be scared to tell Brock he screwed up too)
With the recent headlines that WWE made over suspending one of their top guys in Roman Reigns, people backstage think not suspending Brock makes the company look bad.
There is also talk about how if “part-time” performers aren’t held to the same standards than why was Billy Gunn released.
The guys in the locker room have a point but it’s pretty obvious that Vince McMahon is in the money making business. If you’re a big time draw like Brock than you’re probably going to have to do something pretty extreme to get any kind of punishment. Like having a sex tape with your best friends wife and going on a racially insensitive tirade…brother.
Billy Gunn was a full time employee. He was working NXT at the time.
