Recently it was reported by Villages News that Liv Morgan, real name Gionna Daddio, was pulled over on Thursday after crossing the white and yellow lines several times. According to the report police searched her car and found a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” and “vape pen containing an oil-like substance” which tested positive for marijuana. Morgan was then arrested on charges of synthetic cannabinoid, possession of marijuana and possession of drug equipment.

PWInsider reports that Liv Morgan’s arrest was not widely known about in WWE before the news became public. Several top executives were reportedly aware and spoke with Liv Morgan the day after the arrest. However, the information was kept within a small circle.

Liv Morgan had been penciled in to return for TV storylines in 2024 and it’s being said that the arrest has not changed WWE’s plans. The belief was that Morgan would be back in time for the build to WrestleMania with plans to be in the mix for a “high profile program.”

Internally the arrest does not appear to have hurt her standing with WWE. Liv Morgan is well liked and although the company doesn’t want the situation resolved ASAP it’s not an issue that will put her in danger of being released.

One story making the rounds is that the vape pen that she was in possession of actually belonged to someone else, but was left in Liv Morgan’s jeep. WWE is currently waiting for the legal process to play out and Morgan is set to be arraigned in February in Sumter County, Florida.

Stay tuned for updates.
