Brock Lesnar made his return to WWE Monday Night Raw this week, and Paul Heyman kicked off the show with a bang when he announced that Brock would be entering the 30 man Royal Rumble match as the number one entrant.
According to WrestleVotes, Brock Lesnar is entering the Royal Rumble as a way to set up his match for WrestleMania 36.
With Brock being a current Raw Superstar it’s possible that his inclusion in the Royal Rumble match could signal that his opponent will be from SmackDown or NXT.
There’s currently no word on who his opponent will be, but it was recently reported that he won’t be facing Cain Velasquez or Tyson Fury.
