AMC has picked up options for several shows they are looking into developing, one of which is pro-wrestling related. The show would involve Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins fame and his Resistance Pro Wrestling promotion.
Corgan and AMC have been talking for quite some time. The synopsis in AMC’s press release reads like this:
“Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan pulls back the curtains on the pro-wrestling world as he takes over creative direction for the independent wrestling company Resistance Pro.”
