TMZ is reporting that Adam Rose appeared in front of a judge on Thursday morning to discuss his domestic violence case. Wednesday morning Rose was arrested after he allegedly grabbed his wife and she called 911. He tried to take the phone away from her during the altercation and he was later charged with domestic battery and tampering with a witness.

According to TMZ the judge wanted a restraining order to be put in place that would prevent Adam Rose from having contact with his wife. His wife begged the judge to reconsider telling him that she needs Rose at home because they have a special needs child who requires the attention of both parents.

Rose’s lawyer reportedly told the judge that his actions were “not aggressive or painful” and that they were “more of a passionate, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this.'” The judge brought up a previous domestic violence incident that happened back in March and he expressed concern that a pattern was developing.

In the end the judge held off on the restraining order and set a bond of $1,000 meaning Rose will likely be released at some point today. The judge also ordered him to seek counseling with his pastor at least once again until he returns for his next court date in June.

When news broke yesterday that Adam Rose had been arrested WWE responded by releasing a statement saying they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to domestic violence. The company announced that Rose, who was already serving out a 60 day suspension, is now suspended indefinitely.
