When you’re a WWE Superstar like Finn Balor there isn’t a lot of time to really enjoy things until the time comes to set off to your next destination. After all, that busy life of a WWE Superstar is something most people dream about. But they seldom look at all of the perspectives of a situation, including those that might not be as pleasant.

The first-ever WWE Universal Champion had a little time to spend with his family during the Holidays this year and while it looks like he had a great time it was sadly a short visit because he had to take off to Chicago for the Christmas edition of Raw. But it looks like Balor’s father got a pretty cool gift in the form of a Universal Championship in the process.

But it was what Finn Balor’s mother said that really seemed to stick with him. When Finn told his mother that he was sorry that he had to go to the Christmas Raw she replied in sage-like advice by saying, “Well, isn’t it better than you not being able to go wrestle on Raw on Christmas day?”

She really does have a point. Whether Finn Balor is the #1 contender for the Universal Championship or not, he is still a WWE Superstar and living his dream. Therefore, he might not be “over” enough in Vince McMahon’s eyes to take on The Beast Incarnate at the Royal Rumble, but at least he’s popular enough to get an invite to perform on the show which is a lot more than others can say.

At times like this, it can be important to gain perspective from those around you who might not only have a lot of wisdom to offer but can also provide clarity when shining a light on something from a different angle.

That being said, Happy Holidays from everyone here at Still Real To Us.
