Cody Rhodes became the first ever TNT Champion back in May at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, and since then he’s been defending the title in a weekly open challenge.
AEW has made it clear that just about anyone can step up to challenge for the belt, and last week independent star Eddie Kingston battled Cody.
Cody managed to come out on top, and now he’s moving on to new challengers.
Former WWE Superstar JTG taunted Cody on social when he posted the following:
