When you’re a WWE Superstar you need good entrance music in order to make a big impression on the fans. There are quite a few stars on the roster who have solid entrance themes at the moment, but it looks like one wrestler could be getting a new song soon.

Killswitch Engage bassist Mike D’Antonio recently revealed on Jon’s Untitled Podcast (via The PRP) that the band is currently working on two wrestling theme songs. He stated that one of the themes is for a different company, but the other is a cover of a WWE theme song that the band wasn’t too thrilled about.

Mike says WWE asked them to cover the song as close as possible to the original, but the band feels that it’s “not a good song.”

“We’re not actually not even supposed to talk about it, but we have two wrestling theme songs in the works right now. One I believe is finished… The first one is done and then the second one we’re gonna start recording in like two weeks.”

“One’s for one company and then the other is for WWE. The WWE one was really complicated because it was another thing where they sent us a song and said, ‘You need to cover this as best as possible or as close as possible’ and it’s not a good song.”

“So we had a tough time with it and a lot of the dudes were like ‘I don’t wanna do this.’ And I get it. I understand. If it’s a really crappy song, if we gotta put our name on it, we don’t want our fans thinking we wrote something terrible. So we got this song to where we’re comfortable and we’re gonna start recording it soon.”

Killswitch Engage previously recorded “This Fire Burns” which was used by CM Punk for several years before he switched his entrance music to “Cult of Personality” by Living Colour.

Anyone care to guess whose entrance music they may be recording?
