WWE Releases NXT Star, Carmella Takes A Shot At Asuka

WWE recently released NXT star Zeda from her contract, and now it looks like yet another member of the NXT roster is gone.

Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that one half of The Ealy Brothers, Uriel Ealy, has been released.

According to the report he was released last week, but it’s not known why only one of the brothers was released. The Ealys signed with WWE in 2015 and last appeared on NXT programming in January.

Asuka is set to challenge Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 17th, and Carmella recently took a shot at the Empress of Tomorrow on Twitter when she posted the following:

Who is Asuka?
Empress of Yesterday.
Stoppable.
Beatable.
She used to be what I am today.
Nobody is ready for Mella. #MITB
