You never know what’s going to happen when you watch WWE programming, and last week on Friday Night SmackDown Chelsea Green made her official main roster debut on the blue brand.

Chelsea Green certainly has her fair share of fans, and her main roster debut has been anticipated for some time. Green got called up to the roster using her real name, the name she’s been using since she joined NXT, but according to Fightful Select WWE almost gave her a new name.

According to the report WWE almost gave her the name “Victorious” for her debut, but there were concerns over potential trademark issues.

It was also noted that both Green and “Victorious” appeared on the internal rundown. Original plans called for her to debut the “Victorious” name in a post-match promo.

Green competed in a four way match against Liv Morgan, Tamina and Natalya, and unfortunately for Chelsea Green she was taken out of the match early after she broke her wrist. Liv Morgan ended up winning the match, so the post-match promo never took place.

Chelsea Green has since undergone surgery, and it’s not clear when she’ll be returning, or if she’ll be using the “Victorious” name when she returns.
