R-Truth is quickly finding out that being the WWE 24/7 Champion is both a gift and a curse. Truth has been carrying gold on his shoulder for weeks now, but he also has a very big target on his back.
The current champion has to be ready for a fight at all times, and this week on SmackDown Live he decided to take cover when he hid inside a box backstage. Carmella then had to make her way to the ring for her match, and Truth is still trapped in the box.
He posted an update via Twitter, and he noted that he’s being shipped to Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles next week.
“Somebody get help. It’s the 24/7, 7/11, European Champion,” Truth said in the video.
With the current champion making his whereabouts known, it will be interesting to see if anyone tries to take the title for him en route to Raw on Monday.
