WWE is Vince McMahon’s world, and at the end of the day he has the power to make or break careers.
It doesn’t look like fans will be seeing much of Shanyna Baszler in the near future, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Vince McMahon has made the call to halt her push, and pull her from television.
Becky Lynch recently revealed that she pitched for Shanya Baszler to win the Raw Women’s Title at WrestleMania 36, but the idea was shot down.
The idea was that Baszler would win the title eventually, and she was supposed to win Money in the Bank, but in the end they went with Asuka instead.
It’s being said that Vince soured on Baszler completely because he never grasped the style that a MMA fighter should use in professional wrestling.
It was also noted that Shayna doesn’t “check his buttons” when it comes to women in wrestling.
