WWE really likes to keep their top names happy and if Ronda Rousey signs with WWE, she would certainly be another top name in the company. With WrestleMania coming at us fast, it looks like the card is getting put together backstage and one very special draw for the show might be getting finalized any day now.
TMZ reports Triple H was in Los Angeles on Tuesday night while the WWE Universe was focused on Birmingham Alabama for SmackDown Live. It isn’t often that The Game will miss a television taping, after all, he is WWE COO in charge of live events and television. But it looks like there was important business to discuss. Or maybe they just really wanted to go out to dinner?
Since Ronda Rousey’s agent was also in attendance, we can only assume there were some business matters which needed to be discussed at LA’s Republique restaurant.
Although it was previously reported Rowdy Ronda might be busy filming a new movie with Mark Wahlberg called “Mile 22” which was said to be shooting in Bogota Columbia for a majority of January, it looks like Rousey was able to slip away for a “supposed to be secret’ meeting in LA. Of course, in today’s day and age, it’s almost impossible to keep anything a secret unless you’re Chris Jericho.
With the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble coming up soon, who knows if this deal could have included some discussion about plans for the big event in Philly? It is certainly interesting Rousey is second most likely to walk away with the distinction of winning the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble according to the current betting odds.
If a deal can be reached in time between the two sides, we just might see Rowdy Ronda Rousey finally make her WWE sooner than later. But only time will tell on the exact purpose of this dinner.
