Shawn Michaels is a WWE Hall of Famer and a living legend. Michaels put his career on the line when he went up against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 26, and Taker pinned Michaels and put an end to his incredible run.

Since then fans have been begging Shawn Michaels to return to the ring, but Shawn is adamant that he wants to stay retired. Although it doesn’t look like he’ll be returning to the ring anytime soon, or ever, Michaels has been nice enough to pass his knowledge on the to the next generation.

The WWE Hall of Famer has worked with the stars of NXT and he recently revealed to The Orlando Sentinel that there are a few wrestlers on the roster that really stand out to him.

“I love the Revival, Roderick Strong, Tye Dillinger. I love Elias Samson – I can’t help it, I like the Drifter thing, it stands out to me,” Michaels said. “I see something in a young guy like Patrick Clark. I think Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano are super-talented from a style standpoint.”

Michaels also seems to have taken a liking to the current NXT Champion Bobby Roode. Over the past few months Roode has become one of the brand’s top stars and fans can’t get enough of his “Glorious” gimmick.

It’s only a matter of time before Bobby Roode joins the main roster and Shawn Michaels predicts big things for him when he finally makes the jump.

“They’re doing something really good and special with him, with the whole entrance and presentation and the ‘Glorious’ thing,” Michaels said. “He’s getting over at a level he’s not used to, but once they get behind you like that, when he comes in (to Raw or Smackdown), he could be around for a long time.”

It’s been an interesting week in the world of professional wrestling. The Broken Hardys, Drew Galloway and more parted ways with Impact Wrestling, Randy Orton finally turned on Bray Wyatt and the stars of Raw are getting ready for Fastlane. We’re running down all the big events and we’re also talking Fastlane predictions on this week’s episode of Still Real Radio. Check it out below and be sure to subscribe to the show on iTunes.
