Dean Ambrose has been out of action since December of 2017, and his injury couldn’t have come at a worse time, because he was working as a team with Seth Rollins, and they were on a roll.
Unfortunately Dean’s injury forced WWE to change course, but Seth Rollins recently told App.com that Ambrose will hopefully be back before 2018 is over.
“Dean’s good, man, he’s on the mend,” Rollins said. “He’s on his way back. Hopefully sometime before the end of the year we’ll see Dean Ambrose on WWE television again.”
Last year fans finally got what they wanted when The Shield reunited, but the reunion was cut short due to Roman Reigns getting the mumps, and Dean Ambrose suffering an injury.
However, Rollins noted that the door is open for another reunion at some point.
“One thing that’s exciting about it is I think it leaves us a lot of room for future Shield reunions, so that’s cool to see. If we get an opportunity to do that at some point down the road that would be great. You know, we haven’t done it and thrown it away and wasted it. But yeah man, it’s just (that) stuff happens, you can’t predict those variables of people getting sick or injured.”
