Roman Reigns is the current Universal Champion, and the man to beat on Friday Night SmackDown. In recent months fans have seen Seth Rollins become one of the top stars on the blue brand, and both Reigns and Rollins have been dealing with the same enemy as of late, Cesaro.

The Tribal Chief recently managed to successfully defend his title against Cesaro at the WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, and after Cesaro was defeated by Reigns he was attacked by Rollins. During an appearance on The Bump Rollins was asked about the attack, and he claimed that Cesaro has cheated to gain victories over him in the past.

“The man gets what he deserves. He’s cheated to beat me two times now. Cesaro claims to be this high and mighty, ‘I’m a pro wrestler. I live and die by pro wrestling. I love it.’ Well, maybe do the right thing ’cause if I didn’t get superkicked in the face by Jimmy Uso, Cesaro wouldn’t have gotten the title match at WrestleMania Backlash.

When asked about a possible reunion with his former Shield brother Roman Reigns the idea was shot down by Rollins, but he noted that they’re on the same page.

“No, come on. Roman and I, we don’t need to have a working relationship. You know our history. We don’t need to have a working relationship to be on the same page. We’re up here [raises his hand] and Cesaro’s down here [raises his hand lower]. That’s just how it is. There’s no conversation that needs to be had between myself and Roman Reigns to dictate what’s going on when it comes to Cesaro.”
