It’s been several months since wrestling fans have seen Neville wrestle a match inside of a WWE ring. The former NXT Champion suffered an unfortunate injury just weeks before WrestleMania 32 when he fractured his ankle during a match with Chris Jericho, and he’s been out of action ever since.
Original plans called for Neville to be a part of the multi-man Intercontinental Championship ladder match at WrestleMania 32, but obviously that didn’t happen due to his injury. Fans have been waiting for Neville to return and it finally happened on Tuesday night when he appeared in front of the live crowd at the SmackDown tapings in Grand Rapids, MI.
Neville wrestled Bo Dallas in a dark match, which he won, before the tapings.
