suicide

If you’re a fan of Impact Wrestling then you’re probably aware of Suicide and how this character became a real-life thing. After all, Suicide was a breakout character in the TNA Impact video game before he was ever a real wrestler in the ring.

But since he was so popular in video game form, TNA officials decided to put the outfit on Frankie Kazarian and let him bring the character to life. Plenty of people have played the character since including Christopher Daniels, Kiyoshi, Michael Payne, TJP, and Jonathan Gresham but Caleb Konley was the most recent to portray the video game character brought to life.

Riju from Sportskeeda recently spoke to both Caleb Konley and Trevor Lee and took the chance to ask Konley about portraying the Suicide gimmick.

Caleb Konley replied to Riju’s question in a pretty humorous fashion while still keeping with total kayfabe when he said, “I don’t know what this guy’s talking about. I don’t want to misinterpret what this guy said.”

“It sounded like he talked about being suicidal” Trevor Lee replied. “I thought you were on a healthy track.”

Caleb Konley responded once again no-selling the initial question about the man who recently donned the Suicide attire. “Life is pretty good right now. I have no reason to even think about suicide.”

This is how you get out of a tough situation an interview people, just make a joke about suicide. It should be noted that this tactic is really only effective if someone is asking you if you recently played Suicide on Impact Wrestling as it would be a huge mood killer in any other social situation.

But who knows when we’ll see Suicide next? He seems to be Impact Wrestling’s resident home-grown hero after materializing in real life after becoming a popular video game character which is what we should all aspire to be.
