Sunday night at WWE SummerSlam The Dudley Boyz faced off against Neville and Sami Zayn on the Kickoff Show and they were defeated by their opponents. One night after SummerSlam 2016, it looks like The Dudley Boyz are hanging up their boots tonight on Raw.
It was on August 24th, 2015, the night after last year’s SummerSlam that The Dudleys returned to WWE, and now it looks like they will “say goodbye” tonight on Raw. WWE is leading fans to believe that the legendary tag team will be ending their career tonight as when the official WWE Raw Facebook page broke the news they posted the following caption:
“BREAKING: The Dudley Boyz TO RETIRE tonight at WWE Raw.”
WWE also posted the following on WWE.com:
“One night after yet another miscommunication cost The Dudley Boyz a victory during the SummerSlam Kickoff, the most decorated tag team in sports-entertainment history will evidently be saying their farewells to the WWE Universe tonight, live on Raw.”
No word right now on if the retirement is legitimate or part of a storyline, but earlier today Bubba Ray and D-Von posted the following on Twitter.
