When WWE takes their tour across Europe they usually bring a great show and this sometimes includes a few big surprises. Although it isn’t known if he will become a full-time fixture on the program, WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne certainly made a great impression during his Raw debut in Manchester this week.
It all started with Enzo Amore coming out to cut a promo in his typical fashion. His promo was eventually interrupted by Kalisto who went to ringside. Then out of the blue, Pete Dunne’s music hit and the Manchester crowd lost their minds. This would be expected seeing how Pete Dunne is a huge star with the fans over there.
But Dunne didn’t emerge from the entrance ramp, instead, Kurt Angle came strolling out. Angle had a little fun with the crowd and then he introduced The Bruiserweight. The place went ballistic.
What happened next was not a good time for Enzo Amore. Pete Dunne took to the ring and began beating the stuffing out of Enzo Amore when a match was started between the two.
Enzo Amore tried to pull off a dirty pin off on Pete Dunne but Kalisto interfered in the match and put a stop to that. Suddenly, Pete Dunne hit a sick elbow followed by the Bitter End on Enzo Amore to score the pinfall.
If Pete Dunne is going to take a full-time role in WWE then it would be a long time coming because he’s been a star ever since his debut on WWE’s stage during the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament.
